Happy Thanksgiving from Pride Palace!
Happy Thanksgiving Day, Pride Palace community! Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated in the United States that started as a day of giving thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Every year, millions of people sit down with their friends and families for a Thanksgiving dinner and share what they are thankful for that year. Here’s something Pride Palace is beyond grateful for:
YOU!
Pride Palace would not exist without this fantastic community. We started back in 2019 with the goal of making all people feel loved, accepted, and valued. Through our products, we encourage all people to physically embrace their Pride and showcase their support for the LGBTQ+ community. In doing so, we hope to help all people to spread love and be full of Pride. We are so thankful for each and every single member of the Pride Palace community. You all help us spread love and promote Pride every single day.
Sometimes, it can be hard to find things to be thankful for, especially when people have been facing challenging times. Although 2020 and 2021 haven’t exactly been the easiest years, there is still a lot to be thankful for. Think about your life exactly one year ago and how it has changed for the better. Have you met any new friends? Have you started a new job or maybe received a promotion? It can be very simple, too. With so much hate and violence in the world, sometimes it’s helpful to just be thankful to be alive and healthy. Being grateful for your friends and family also goes a long way.
We also understand that the holiday season can be especially triggering and difficult for people in the LGBTQ+ community. Whether it’s the fear or discomfort of returning home or simply not knowing how or who to celebrate with, it’s okay to not be a fan of the holiday. However, Pride Palace wants to remind you that you are not alone! Reach out to friends, support groups, or Pride Palace if you feel uneasy and would like someone to talk to. We are thankful for this community and will do everything we can to show support.
Whether you identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community or are an ally, we support you and thank you in joining us in our fight for equality. Take some time to think about what you are thankful for this holiday season. Don’t hesitate to tell your loved ones how much you appreciate them. Happy Thanksgiving, Pride Palace community!
