Hang Your Pride Flag in 5 Easy Steps (Claude preview)
How to hang your Pride flag in 5 easy steps
Everything you need is under $10 at any hardware store, and most of it you already own.
Choose your anchor line
Pick a straight reference: a window frame, a shelf edge, or a light strip of painter's tape as a guide. This keeps your flag level and centered, in real life and in photos.
Pick a damage-free hanger
Clear adhesive hooks, removable mounting strips, or a tension rod between two walls or inside a window frame. All of them come off clean, so your deposit is safe. Press each point firmly for 30 to 60 seconds.
Create 3 to 5 support points
One in each top corner, plus an optional point at the top center. If your flag hangs near a drafty window, add two light supports along the sides. More points means less sag.
Clip, loop, or tie
Mini binder clips, safety pins through the header, or a cord threaded through the grommets and onto your hooks or rod. Keep the fabric flat with no twists.
Tension and tidy
Smooth wrinkles by gently pulling the corners, then angle the side supports slightly downward to pull out the waves. Step back, snap a test pic, adjust. Done.
Pride is every day. Make your space say it for you.
When your flag is up, you show up: on Zoom, at study sessions, and when friends walk in the door. A clean, centered hang turns any room into a welcome sign for you and for anyone who needs one. Hang it once, feel it daily.
Flags that hang beautifully. All identities, bold color.
